How to use synth_runner on Mac M1

Hello. I am using STATA 17 on my Mac M1 2020. I am facing difficulties in using the synth_runner package for Synthetic Control. Is there a kind soul who can provide a solution to that problem.

The package does get installed but I cannot do any analysis using the package.

Why can't you do any analysis? What does Stata say when you attempt to? Use the smoking dataset that comes with synth, and run some of the in-help file commands.

Using the code delimiters, show us exactly what Stata says when you try to do an analysis.

I don't think the synth package has a M1 binary for its plugin. Which would prevent synth_runner from working.
