Need Help with Stata Assignment

Hi,
Not sure if I can use this forum to get academic help so if this isn't right please delete my post, thanks.

I'm new to using Stata so I have a lot of questions I simply don't understand or don't know where to start.
The first one would be that I imported a csv file, but I want to change the base year for those values.
How do I do that please?

Actually, queries concerning class/home assignments should not be posted/replied on this forum (there's a FAQ on this point).
That said, if you're intended to get yourself familiar with Stata, -helpfile-(s) and the Stata .pdf manual can support you enormously (we all on this forum underwent this training and we're still practising).
