Can we do a LPA(Latent Profile Analysis) with Stata?

It could be a stupid question but I am thirsty for the answer.
Do we need Mplus for conducting LPA or can we do it only with Stata?

I want to use only Stata for LPA but I still couldn't find out why most people use mplus for LPA or LCA instead of Stata.
Do you or does any body know the reason? Mplus is good for structural equal modelings but if we can still do it with Stata, what are the strengths of using mplus for LPA?
