  • Rao-Scott Chi-square test statistic

    Hello Statalist
I want to identify the association between two categorical variables through the Rao-Scott Chi-square test statistic. And the data is from a cross-sectional survey. How can I run the test?

Rich Goldstein Firstly, thank you very much for your response. Here is the output from a two-way (2x2) svy: tab:
      Pearson:
      Uncorrected chi2(1) = 134.1899
      Design-based F(1, 1315) = 57.1008 P = 0.0000

I want to calculate the chi(2) version of the Rao-Scott statistic. I am a little bit confused. Could I find the statistic directly? Or could I use this outcome as the Rao-Scott chi-square test?

well, first, you don't show your exact command; second, go to the help file and search for "rao" (or "scott") and you will see which options are relevant
