I was wondering if someone has advice on how to import data from a Google spreadsheet so that it retains the original emojis (not Unicode) in one of the string variables?
I have seen some answers that include code for importing Google sheets into Stata, but it entails first converting the Google spreadsheet into an Excel or delimited file before importing into Stata, which loses the emojis.
Any insights on this are appreciated!
