  • asdoc changing values in probit regression

    Hi,

    When I run these commands

eststo: probit PIP RD IRDS CS CCU CC CCoCL CUES CGPI IPP CSS CSM CSL NECD PG SVC
    esttab, se pr2 margin

    I get this:

Name:	com asdoc.png
Views:	1
Size:	114.3 KB
ID:	1610650

However, when I run the exact same command but add "asdoc" before "esttab" to be able to export it to word, I get completely different values.

eststo: probit PIP RD IRDS CS CCU CC CCoCL CUES CGPI IPP CSS CSM CSL NECD PG SVC
    asdoc esttab, se pr2 margin

Here's what I'm getting after running those commands:

    sem asdoc.png

As you can see the values differ significantly.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Thank you,
    Manel

asdoc is not supposed to be used with esttab. If you want to report margins, I recently added support for it in asdocx. Here is a working example of creating a nested table of margins with asdocx. https://fintechprofessor.com/asdocx/...s-with-asdocx/

Check out my asdoc program, which sends outputs to MS Word.
For more flexibility, consider using asdocx which can send Stata outputs to MS Word, Excel, LaTeX, or HTML.
