Project manager: Adding an existing dynamic directory

Hi,
Is there a way to link an existing directory in a project manager file where in a dynamic way, so that when files/folders are moved, deleted, or added in the working directory, they are accurately mapped in the project manager file?

Hi Saul,

If what you mean is something to the effect that if you link a folder that exists in your working directory and save a dta file in that folder, you'll then be able to see it in the project manager pane without having to manually update the folder, I do no think that is possible. The manual says that folders in a project are only a way to group individual files but do not exist outside of the project. In other words you can use the same folder structure as that which is on your disk but ultimately folders in a project are not folders on your disk. See [P] Project Manager for more details.
