Additions/Enhancements to Stata

Is there a single best way to propose additions and enhancements to Stata? Should we have a forum dedicated to such a discussion?

Make a proposal for Stata under General and for Mata under Mata.

Personal view: As quite a few people object strongly even to four forums, the momentum for new forums is essentially zero. It's got to be evident that there are many posts on a diferent heading that should be segregated.

If you make such a post, you might want to put "wish list" or "wishlist" in a tag or in the title. Doing so will make it easier to find later.
