Is is possible to create a CONSORT flow diagram in stata without specifying the coordinates of the box, arrows and the other objects?

Since you don't acknowledge it in your question, the output of

matches the community contributed flowchart package, and clicking on the package name brings up the description, which tells us " The final diagram will be similar in style to the ones used in the CONSORT 2010 Statement or STROBE Statement Reporting Guidelines." But perhaps you are aware of it and looking for an alternative.
