  • How to draw a graph for U-shaped relationships like the graph presented below?

    Hi,
My regression are invited the squared term and the relationship proved to be a inverted u shape, but I want to draw the graph like the graph posted like this one (the graph is from Sahay 2015), but I don't know how to make it.Can someone help me with the code?
    Thanks in advance.

You don't give any data example or any information on your data, so I gave a hint. If you want more details, you need to supply more details. See https://www.statalist.org/forums/help #12 (and also #13).

Sorry for my fault, I am a beginner both in Stata as well as this forum.
I just follow the equation: Y1=α1FD1+α2FD1^2+α3Controls, and the results showed this is a bell shaped relationship between FD1 and Y1, but I would like to output the graph like above, I don’t know how to make it. In the graph, I want the “code” in my data rest in this curve to see the value. Here I attached my data for you to better understand. Thank you so much

I am sorry this is the correct data. if I choose code=CHN and USA to see where will they rest on the curve, how to make it?
