I am plotting age-standardised incidence rates of a certain health condition onto a map of New South Wales, Australia using -grmap- (see image below). However, as the government areas in the country side are much bigger in relation to areas within the Sydney region, the regions within Sydney (yellow square) are barely visible. Is it possible to "zoom in" that region and have it plotted in the same figure, right next to the the "full" New South Wales map?
I have tried creating two different maps, a "full" map like the one below, and a map of the areas of interest within Sydney, but the quintile distribution of the incidence rates is not the same and therefore the data are not comparable.
Appreciate any help!
