  • brant test STATA 16

    Hi everyone

I can't run brant, detail in STATA 16. I have downloaded the oparallel and been trying to run after the omodel logit but this messege appears "the command brant is unrecognized
    r(199);"
Any ideas how to solve this please?
    Thank you in advance
    Ellie

    Code:
    rnethelp "http://fmwww.bc.edu/RePEc/bocode/o/oparallel.sthlp"
seems to me to imply that oparallel (from SSC, as you are asked to explain) offers a Brant test through its brant option.

If you want to use a brant command, you need to install that separately, which explains that error message.

      Do

      findit spost13_ado

and install the programs. You will get brant and numerous other useful routines.

I highly recommend the Long and Freese book which discusses spost13 and the underlying statistical principles:
