Multiple Correspondence Analysis in Stata

Dear Stata users,

Good morning.

I have created a perception index using multiple correspondence analysis as the responses are 0/1. The commands are as follows:

mca opt1 opt2 opt3 opt4
predict pi

Can anyone tell me whether my codes are correct in using MCA?

I would highly appreciate if anyone could provide me some detailed rationale behind using these codes.
