  • Robustness Checks - coefficients unchanged, but additional control is significant.

    Hi,

I have estimated a model and am now conducting some robustness checks.
One of these involves the addition of new control variables.
When I add a certain control variable, the existing coefficients are largely unchanged in magnitude and significant however the included control is itself significant.
how should I go about interpreting such results?

    Chumani:
lines with no numbers (ie, what you typed and what Stata gave you back, that you can share via CODE delimiters) make your query difficult/impossible to reply.
    Kind regards,
