Table Creation

Hey Statalists,
I have data with variable named district, hospital name and total number of cases having fever. There are several cases from each hospital month wise so there is there are duplicates of districts and hospital names. I want to create a table with district hospital name and total patient. Can any one help me out with this. I used collapsed but i am searching other alternatives as data got deleted in collapse.

The collapse command seems like the right approach for creating the table you describe.

It would help to know

• a sample of your data presented using the dataex command
• the exact collapse command you ran presented using code delimiters [CODE] and [/CODE]
• why the output of the collapse command is not what you want
