STATA 16 Update Error

I was unable to update Stata 16 on win 10.

The screenshot says

My first guess is the permssion of writing, but since I am the administrator, it should not matter.

Any ideas on how to solve the issue? Thanks a lot!

The first thing I always do is try again later. Sometimes there is a temporary problem.

You can also update manually:

https://www.stata.com/support/updates/

Make sure you aren't out of hard disk space.

Thanks! However, I tried to re-install today but it was still stuck there as before. Also the manual update encountered the same issue.

Surpurisingly,

 update all, force

worked!!
