Can you give examples of the journals to which you are unable to submit graphs produced in Stata? I regularly see Stata graphs in top journals in education, developmental psychology, and economics. Perhaps it would be easier if people contacted the editorial board to request a change from that policy? Patterns in areas are not always the best way to convey information in a manner that can be interpreted easily, so with any luck digging up some of the empirical evidence related to perception of graphs could support requesting a change to that policy?
