  • Spatial Models for Binary Dependent Variable

What would be the pitfalls of using the Sp command for models where the dependent variable is binary? Are there other commands that would be better suited to running spatial models with a binary dependent variable?

You'll increase your chances of a useful answer by following the FAQ on asking questions - provide Stata code in code delimiters, readable Stata output, and sample data using dataex.

I don't do spatial models, but my quick look at the documentation suggests sp is for continuous variables. Googling this gives https://www.stata.com/statalist/arch.../msg00660.html
and https://www.stata.com/statalist/arch.../msg00660.html. There are user-written spatial model estimation routines - maybe one of them works. Alternatively, you could just use sp and consider it a linear probability model.
