Hi all,

I have a very large dataset, and they send me a link from OneDrive with the data, and some do-file which use paths from OneDrive.

Should I download the data into the OneDrive folder in my pc, in order to use the do files?

You'll increase your chances of a useful answer by following the FAQ on asking questions - provide Stata code in code delimiters, readable Stata output, and sample data using dataex.

While it may be possible to work directly from OneDrive, I don't know how to do it. I normally download the data. It is also nice to have full control of the data (whereas someone might be able to modify the OneDrive data without you knowing). If it takes a lot of space, you might consider the compress command.
