Hi everyone, i have several questions with my difference in difference research.
1. The problem is i cannot estimate my difference in difference model using dummy variables (treatment, year, and treatment_year). Stata always omitted my treatment variable, it said there is a collinearity between treatment and other dummy variable. is there any solution for this problem? or how can i estimate the dummy interaction variable with fixed effect? i want to get the three estimation of it.
for the information:
1. treatment 1 is area with program (treatment:254, 0 as control=242)
2. year 1 is 2017, 0 for 2013
3. treatment_year= interaction between both dummy variables above.
4. N= 498 x 2(year)= 984t
2. ohya, i have estimate that data with random effects (xtreg treatment_year treatment year), but the result is quite different with the command "xtreg dependen i.treatment#i.year". which one is better for my result study?
i have read many of post with did topics, but i cannot solve my problem until now...
thank you.
Best, Yusuf
