Dear Statalisters,
I have to conduct an IVs regression analysis. My concern is that my outcome variable is a proportion.
I know there are several options, when it comes to non-IVs models, such as adopting a fractional logit model or using glm.
However, I cannot find a comparable model to IVs regression.
In my sample, there is no observation with value "1", and less than 3% of observations are "0".
Are there any Stata IVs regression commands that explicitly deal with a proportional outcome?
What is the standard approach to this situation?
Additionally, I do not exactly remember but one can do a variable transformation and fit a linear model. If this is correct, what is the equation for this?
Thanks,
Wander SK.
