Regional identifiers

Hi All!

I have a panel of 58 countries and I am trying to assign regional IDs to them. I have 6 regions hence 6 IDs. Is there a shorter command to accomplish it without having to use replace command 58 times? Thank you!

You can create a new dataset with the desired mapping and then use merge to bring these in.
