  • How to can I resolve error 3200 when estimating quantile regression with panel data (qregpd)?

    my estimation:

    qregpd depvar indvar1 indvar2....indvar14, id(panel_id) fix(year)

    but i get this error:

    *: 3200 conformability error
    estimateGamma(): - function returned error
    weightMatrix(): - function returned error
    <istmt>: - function returned error
    r(3200);

    end of do-file

    qregpd is not part of official Stata. If you don't get a timely response here from somebody who is familiar with it and perhaps has dealt with this very situation before, you probably will have to contact the author of the program.

      The qregpd command is a user-written extension to Stata downloaded from SSC. The error message you received comes from the depths of the program and isn't in any obvious way connected to the command. It's the sort of error message that suggests the program did something the authors didn't expect. It seems likely that the best source of advice for you is to contact the authors at the email addresses given at the bottom of the output of help qregpd .

            Did this ever get resolved. I have the same issue and wanted to ask prior to contact authors.

              I struggled with it a bit and in the end decided to address it in a different way.
