Nick Cox That's really a helpful command to tackle large labels, thanks!
    Best regards,

        Dear all,
My value labels are long, and therefore in the y-axis some of the words are cut. It is the second variable locS. How can I put value labels in two lines, e.g. two words in one line, two words in the second line? Please find below the command and the graph.

catplot pol locS [aw=rb050], percent(locS) asyvars stack ///
        blabel(bar, pos(center) format(%3,1f) size(4)) ///
        ytitle(%) ///
        bar(1, bcolor(red)) bar(2, bcolor(blue))recast(hbar) var2opts(descending)

        Best,
        Aleksandra

We can't see your graph, let alone reproduce it.

Please study and act on FAQ Advice #12 https://www.statalist.org/forums/help#stata on

            1. explaining user-written software you cite (where does catplot come from?)

            2. showing example data so that a problem can be reproduced

            3. showing graphs as .png attachments.

              Dear Nick,

Thanks for your immediate answer. I am posting for the first time, I applogize for this. Here is the graph. I don't know how to put labels on y two be in two or three lines, depending on the lenth fo the label. I read many posts, but I could not find the answer. Just one note, I don't want to be lower size label(labsize(vsmall)), since the letter become to small that it is not readable.
