Stata Journal Editors' Prize 2016 is awarded to Patrick Royston

The Editors of the Stata Journal are delighted to announce the award of the 2016 Editors' Prize to Patrick Royston.

The Prize announcement is included in the latest issue of the Stata Journal which has just been emailed to subscribers.

Patrick has been one of the giants of the Stata community over most of its history and the award of this Prize marks his enormous contribution in several different roles.

Patrick is a wonderful choice. I think the piece announcing the award could have emphasized an entirely different set of articles (e.g. his 2013 paper on the marginscontplot command) and still easily justified the honor. Congratulations to Patrick.
