  • Unrecognized malmq command in stata

    Hi I try to run malmq i_AC = O_SPI O_CPI, ort(o) period( period) from http://www.stata.com/meeting/chicago..._lee_files.zip but the stata result unrecognized command: malmq.

    Anybody knows why it happens?

    regards

    There is no -malmq- command in official Stata. -findit malmq- reveals a package that you can find on line and install. Then you will be able to use it.

    Just type -findit malmq- and then click through the links until you get it.

      Thanks Clyde..I just did what you suggest, but after I press install, it comes up with following message:

      package name: dea.pkg
      from: http://www.cgdev.org/doc/stata/MO/DEA/

      checking dea consistency and verifying not already installed...
      all files already exist and are up to date.

      And when I try to run malmq it still unrecognized.

      regards
      Dadang

          Hi Dadang,

          I have the same problem. How did you overcome it?
          Thanks, Beatriz

              did you do what Clyde suggested in #2 above? if not what did you do; in particular, assuming you downloaded it, did you install it somewhere on your adopath? see "help adopath" if you don't understand
