  • Changing font size for the data editor variables window

    Hi Statalist,

I'm trying to reduce the font size for the data editor's variables window, required due to some skewed resolutions on my computer/monitor. Unfortunately, right clicking on the window and then clicking on "fonts" doesn't seem to be an option as in the case of other areas of the Stata user interface (see attached screenshot) and I'm unable to figure out how to make this change for that particular window.

Thanks, in advance, for your help!

    Welcome to Statalist!

From Chapter 17 of the Getting Started with Stata for Windows Release 14 PDF included in the Stata installation (and accessible from within Stata - for example, through Stata's Help menu) we have

If fonts and font sizes for a window can be changed, they can be changed by right-clicking on the window and selecting Font... from the contextual menu.
So the contrapositive of that is that if they cannot be changed by right-clicking on the window etc., then fonts and font sizes cannot be changed.
