I have a cohort and a reference population and would like to calculate the YLL for the cohort.
I have information about time of death and causes of death in both groups.
Not all fail within the observation period. The data is right censored.
this is not much to go by, but i thought i would start a thread and maybe fill in along the way when we get closer to how this could be done.
I know its doable in R, but i have zero knowledge of R and going that why is not an option.
