This still wasn't working for me after installing the beta version (I run Stata 12, 64 bit). I tried again after reading this chain and realized that I needed to 'force installation' of a few of the files, since I had already installed usespss before realizing it would only run on 32 bit systems. I also found that it won't run with usespss using filename, but worked with usespss filename
