    Hello
I've been reading through this discussion from a few years ago on multi-group analysis within a multi-level modelling framework. I have a dichotomous outcome variable (mental ill health) and want to examine variation across occupational groupings and association of a range of demographic predictors, but would like to explore if the effects of these predictors vary for males and females. I was wondering if there are any new features in Stata 15 that will facilitate this type of multi-group analysis within a MLM framework. I notice the 'multi-group generalised SEM' update but is there anything similar that can be implemented with a MLM framework?
    Many thanks in advance.

Well, the problem you have described does not really call for multi-level modeling; it calls for interactions between the various predictors and sex. But perhaps there is more to your problem that makes it truly multi-level.

Be that as it may, Stata has an extensive suite of commands for multi-level modeling. To learn about them start by running -help me-. Then click on the links to the commands most directly related to what you want to do.
