Test to see if I can delete a thread

I am going to create this thread and then see if I can delete it. If you are reading this two days from now then obviously it did not work.

EDIT: I don't see how to delete the thread, but I do seem to be able to delete followup posts.

Click on Edit, then choose Delete.

I didn't see a delete option for the very first post that started a thread. Just for follow up posts.

I think you can delete your own posts within one hour, except that you cannot delete threads, even threads with one post that is your own. That's a guess. The logic is presumably that in general you can't be regarded as owning a thread.
