I am almost new to Stata, and visually challenged in so far as making and visualising graphs is concerned. However, being a student of Economics, I frequently use graphs in my research papers. Here my query goes as under:
I wish to display four government expenditure categories, each ranging from 2014 to 2021 against twenty countries. Is it anyway possible to effectively plot a graph of this kind of dataset. I know from my earlier searches that, yes, this is possible, but how in Stata? How to plot in Stata a dataset containing twenty countries, each having four expenditure categories, and each category ranges over eight years from 2014 to 2021? If this is somehow possible to clearly visualise the above information by means of a graph in Stata, then please help me choosing the right graph type, graph setting and command syntax.
