Just wondering what the flag button does.

Ok, clicked on flag for this message and got a popup with the following message and a text area:

I was also wondering about using MathJax. Let is try some display math

OK, the preview doesn't render the math. Let us try posting.

Tried with double dollar signs as well as \[ and \]. No luck. How about inline $\mu$ or \( \mu \)? Nope.

OK, apparently one needs to refresh the page for the math to show. Dollar signs don't work, use \( and \) for inline and \[ and \] for display. This post is relevant:
