Hello Stata:
I'm using gsem to calculate a multi-level generalized SEM with survey data. Essentially I'm looking at the circular relationship between trust, sociability, and migration rate in the region in which respondents live, wherein high out-migration rates interrupt or diminish the strong relationship between trust and sociability. My basic output is below.
As predicted, I'm getting a positive relationship between Migration and Trust and Sociability and Trust. However, I'm confused about the negative (but significant relationship) between Trust and Sociability and wondering if it has something to do with the feedback loop I've constructed and/or how the relationship is being mediated by the Migration variable.
